Nina has broad governance experience having held a number of governance positions over the past 10 years in the not for profit, community and sporting sectors. She has chaired finance, audit and risk committees with her background in accounting and economics. Her executive career has included roles in the banking industry as well as owning her own successful business.
Nina acutely understands the challenges facing Water Safety New Zealand having worked as the sector strategy manager for a number of years through to 2023. She has extensive experience in strategic planning, stakeholder engagement and health and safety.
Water safety is always front of mind for Nina in her role as a Masters coach of flat-water rowing in Te Wanganui-A-Tara Wellington.
